Setback to Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde over Media Remarks Foretold
Jealous over the wide coverage being given to Narendra Modi and the BJP by the media the Union Home Minister in the UPA Govt Sushil Kumar Shinde bursted on media on 24th February, 2014 and threatened to crush electronic media alleging a section of it was unnecessarily provoking the Congress party by indulging in false propaganda against it.
His remarks gave him and his party Congress a serious setback stoking heated debates and put him and his party on the back-foot. Seriously criticized by the media and other political parties he denied making the above statement.
In this context the following forecast was made on the “Baba Ji” website giving a warning to Shinde about this bad period.

Parliament faced much Trouble over Telangana
In February, 2014 Parliament of India was much in trouble over Telangana affairs. On 13th February, 2014 there was very chaotic environment in Parliament over Telangana bill with angry MPs coming to blows, pulling out a microphone and pepper spraying the chamber. Small fights also took place between MPs opposed to the bill and several trying to stop the chaos and restore order. The Parliament was adjourned and the incident was censured across the country. However, UPA got the bill passed on 18th February, 2014 despite protests in Seemandhra. The MP Rajagopal who splashed pepper spray on 13th February resigned from Lok Sabha.

US Dollar under Pressure despite gains in Stocks
In February, 2014 despite gains in US stock exchange the US dollar continued to be a casualty and remained under pressure. It was reported on 17th February, 2014 that US dollar is now close to its lows for the year around 80.00. Indonesian rupiah and Thai baht have been the best performers versus US dollar. Deep freezing weather played a major role in reducing the monthly purchases and that resulted in weak US retail sales.

Obama’s Strategy over Iran and Syria criticized by House Majority Leader
On 17th February, 2014 declaring that “hope is not a strategy” when it comes to foreign policy, US House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., criticized President Obama’s strategy in regions of the world, calling for more assertive and decisive actions in places like Iran and Syria. Cantor also criticized the current interim agreement between the US and Iran for allowing Iran to continue enriching uranium.

Terrorist Violence erupted in China
On 24th January, 2014 serious violence erupted in China and Chinese police shot dead six people during a terrorist attack in the restive western region of Xinjiang and six more died when explosives they were carrying detonated. According to a state media report At least 91 people, including several policemen, have been killed in violence in Xinjiang since April, 2013.

China’s Stocks declined, Export and Import Growth slowed Down in January, 2014
In January, 2014 Chinese stocks declined, with a gauge of mainland companies traded in Hong Kong sliding to a five-month low. Credit traders also took out the most protection on China’s debt in 14 months. The Shanghai index lost 3.9 percent in January, 2014. China's export and import growth also declined in January, 2014 underlining a broader slowdown in its economy.

Highly Unkind Weather causing heavy damage, decline in Economy, spread of Epidemic, Unions demanding Wage Hikes in Japan Foretold
Snowstorm heaviest in Decades caused heavy damage
On 8th February, 2014 weather became highly unkind in Japan and deadly snowstorm, heaviest in decades continued hit Japan. The snowstorm continued to lash Japan on the next day also leaving 11 people dead and over 1200 injured. Power cut affected tens of thousands of people and hundreds of flights were cancelled. Several universities delayed the start of their entrance exams. Some 38 centimeter of snow blanketed parts of the north, the deepest whiteout in 91 years.
Decline in Japan’s Economy
Japan’s economy is facing somewhat decline since the start of the year 2014. The Nikkei 225-share index has plunged 8.9 percent since the start of the year. The Japanese Yen lost scored during the Asian session positions against the dollar after data on GDP and industrial production. According to the report submitted by the Cabinet Office in Tokyo, annualized gross domestic product grew by only 1 % compared to the previous quarter. The economic slowdown in Japan emphasizes the risks to recovery, especially before the rise of the sales tax in April to 8% from 5%.
Report of Influenza Epidemic in Japan
Epidemic also spread in Japan this year. Tokyo metropolitan government health officials have issued an influenza epidemic warning, labeling the capital as a high-risk area. According to health officials, in the week from 20th to 26th January, 2014 each hospital in the metropolitan area saw an average of 29.7 patients suffering from influenza-related symptoms. About 1.32 million cases of flu were reported nationwide in the week to 26th January, 2014, double the previous week.
Japan’s Unions started demanding Wage Hikes
On 16th February, 2014 it was reported that Japan's unions have started demanding wage hikes from cash-rich firms as annual pay talks get under way, setting up a rare showdown after years of drama-free labour relations.

Snowstorm, heaviest in 50 Years paralyzed Iran
In the first week of February, 2014 the heaviest snowstorm in 50 years blanketed provinces in northern Iran, cutting power supplies and trapping villagers. Around 500,000 people in northern Iran were left without electricity and gas. Several people were hospitalized and over 3500 people were settled in emergency shelters. In Tehran, temperatures plunged to -7 C on 1st February, 2014 making it the capital's coldest night of the year, while other provinces experienced temperatures as low as -18 C.

Iran’s differences with Pakistan arose after abduction of Iranian Border Guards by a Terrorist Outfit
In early February 2014 environments at Iran border with Pakistan became highly vitiated when on 6th February, 2014 five Iranian border guards were abducted in Sistan-Baluchestan province, with the terrorist outfit, Jaish ul-Adl, claiming responsibility for this kidnapping. Pakistani Ambassador to Iran was summoned on 9th February, 2014 in this context. Iran threatened to send its troops into Pakistan if the Pak Govt fails to take measures to secure their release.

Serious Crisis and deadly Violence in Ukraine, a Republic of Russian Federation causing heavy Casualties and difficulties for Russia Foretold
In January, 2014 serious crisis erupted in Ukraine, a Republic of Russian Federation and the anti-government protests flared over the President’s decision to pull out of a landmark treaty with the European Union turned violent. Violent protests spread beyond the capital Kiev and the protesters stormed the governor's offices in Lviv, and there were rallies in at least five more western cities. Two people were killed in the clashes in the capital on 22nd January, 2014. After a brief truce the protests turned deadly in February, 2014 and on 18th February, 2014 protesters set ablaze the Independence Square in Kiev. On 20th February, 2014 security forces fired on masses of antigovernment demonstrators in Kiev in a drastic escalation of the crisis that left dozens dead and Ukraine reeling from the most lethal day of violence since Soviet times.
Russia was criticized over its role in supporting the crackdowns in Ukraine and Putin was accused of failure to respect basic freedom in this Republic as Russia remained keeping its low profile over Ukraine whereas Russia has accused the western countries of political meddling in Ukraine.
Pussy Riot members have also shown their aggression against the Govt of Russia over Sochi Olympics. On 19th February, 2014 the Pussy Riot group who have called for a boycott of Sochi Olympics tried to demonstrate in Sochi. Security forces attacked the protesters and several demonstrators were injured.
